Terms of use for membership

When you sign up for any service on match2mate.com you agree to all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

The service is currently available on Celtel and MTN networks in Nigeria. Messages sent to the system are charged at N30.00 Inclusive Vat as per the networks pricing scheme.

Right to Use

Your right to use the Service is subject to any limitations, conditions and restrictions established by us from time to time, in our sole discretion. We may alter, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, including the availability of any Service feature, database or content. We may also impose limits on certain features and aspects of the Service or restrict your access to parts or all of the Service without notice or liability.

Use of the website

To be eligible to use the Service, you must be over 18 years of age. You must provide certain current, complete, and accurate information about yourself at registration and maintain and update such registration information ("Registration Data") so that such information remains current, complete and accurate.

By clicking registering for the service, it is assumed that you agree to these terms and conditions and also confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Match2mate may refuse to offer its Service to anyone without the need to give any reason and may change its criteria for Membership at any time.

Match2mate will notify you if you have been accepted and registered as a Member. If any Registration Data that you provide is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, match2mate retains the right to terminate your Membership immediately.

Code of Conduct

The service must not be used:

a. fraudulently or in connection with any criminal offense

b. to send or receive any material which is obscene, menacing, defamatory, abusive, offensive or in breach of any person's rights (including without limitation, rights to privacy) or otherwise unlawful

c. to harass, stalk, inconvenience or cause needless annoyance or anxiety to any person

d. for commercial purposes or to send unsolicited promotional material or spam

e. in breach of any third party's intellectual property rights.

Security

Your account is private and should not be used by anyone else. You are responsible for all usage or activity on the Service by users using your password, including but not limited to use of your password by any third party.

Monitoring of Information

We do not claim ownership of the material you submit or make available via the service, however by using the service, you grant to us a royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt and/or publish any such material as we require. This EXCLUDES personal information such as mobile phone numbers and email addresses, which are confidential and will be protected to the fullest extent.

Content presented to you as part of the Service ("Content") is protected by copyright, trademarks, service marks, patents or other proprietary agreements and laws and you are only permitted to use this Content as expressly authorized by match2mate. These Terms and Conditions do not transfer any right, title, or interest in the Service or the Content to you and you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this Content without expressly being authorized to do so by match2mate.

You hereby irrevocably grant to match2mate all such rights in any content that you place on this website as shall be necessary for match2mate to provide the Service to its Members. However, you shall remain solely responsible for the content of profiles, public postings, messages and other materials you may upload to the Service or users of the Service.

Removal of Information

While we do not and cannot review every message or other material posted or sent by users of the Service, and are not responsible for any content of these messages or materials, we reserve the right, but are not obligated, to delete, move, or edit messages or materials, including without limitation, profiles, public postings and messages, that we, in our sole discretion, deem to violate the Code of Conduct set out above or any applicable content guidelines, or to be otherwise unacceptable.

Termination of Access to Service

We may, in our sole discretion, terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for reasons which may include, without limitation, breach of these terms and conditions.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise illegal activity, or conduct which may otherwise infringe other Users’ use and affect their enjoyment of the Service or the Internet may be grounds for termination of your access to all or part of the Service at our sole discretion, and you may be referred to appropriate law enforcement agencies.

We reserve the right to disclose information about you to applicable regulatory or government bodies where any of your actions have breached these terms of use or where We are required by law to disclose this information.

Disclaimer

Match2mate does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free; because match2mate is not involved in Member-to-Member dealings. There may be delays, omissions, and interruptions in the availability of the Service.  Match2mate makes no warranty regarding the results that may be obtained from the use of the Service, the suitability of any dates or the accuracy or reliability of any content or information obtained through the Service

We do not represent or endorse the accuracy or reliability of any member profile, advice, opinion, statement or other information displayed, uploaded or distributed through the Service by match2mate, our partners or any user of the Service or any other person or entity. You acknowledge that any reliance upon any such opinion, member profile, advice, statement or information shall be at your sole risk.

We reserve the rights to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the Service now, or following the posting of notice of any changes in this Agreement, will constitute a binding acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions, or any subsequent modifications.
